DJ Debra Kadabra is a genre-blurring selector spinning rare soul, blues, funk, reggae, electronic, Afro, punk, post-punk, rock, ambient, psychedelic, folk, city pop, and beyond. As the host of Get Thy Bearings on Brooklyn-based streaming radio platform KPIS, he crafts immersive sonic journeys that dig deep and move wide.

Jhana Allan :: Sunday Session

Jhana Allan is a multi-instrumentalist, and folk-rock singer songwriter, amongst many other hats she has worn throughout her long music career. She has supported Australian artists such as Frente, Fred Smith, Lucie Thorne and The Maes. In 2023 she recorded her sophomore album ‘Fake Paradise’ in Nashville, produced by her mentor, Americana artist Rachel Baiman, with 5 time Grammy award winning engineer Sean Sullivan (Margo Price, Andrew Marlin, Molly Tuttle) in his studio, The Tractor Shed.

Poco Loco (Spanish Trans.- a little insane) is a dynamic Latin Cabaret Quartet consisting of David “Diego” Baker, guitar and vocals, Angel Manuel Serrano, (certifiably Latin), trumpet, flute and vocals, Paul

“Pablo” Carruthers, percussion and backing vocals, and Alex “Alejandro” Croke’ bass and backing vocals. Poco Loco’s shared “insanity” is their passion for all forms of Latin Music.

Dj Secateurs :: Saturday Selections

Brad started DJing in London in 2002, and had been

collecting records for many years before that. He’s been playing about town for the past 6 years,

and has spun tunes in London, Edinburgh, Sydney

and Newcastle. His sets range from soul, funk and boogie to house, breakbeat and jungle…always groovy, always soulful, and always funky ass basslines!

One half of Spinosa records, he also provides

Newcastle with some of the finest vinyl selections.

Dauphin and SidePocket follow powerful undercurrents that stem from improvised jazz and soul music traditions,  shifting to simpler forms that find contrast in nuanced texture rather than harmonic movement. The lyrics tell stories of love, loss and transformation.
